PB-TLA has as its mission a commitment to excellence and ever-lasting service to Mother Tamil and the Tamil community in and beyond VIT-Vellore. Nourishing the flourishing language is one of the main aims of the club and that is precisely achieved by gathering together students with various talents and imperishable interest from the community and providing them with wide-ranging stages in and beyond the campus. The different art forms that we succor include both fine arts and performing arts which we commit to uplift through online competitions, online events, offline events, offline competitions, talent shows, and many more. We provide an arena for students to gain skills, practice strategies, and display their talents from drawing, painting, dancing, poem writing, essay writing, singing, story writing, content writing, creative presentation, management skills, digital art to name a few. We also consider it our responsibility to bring forth our primordial yet affluent culture by staging performing art forms such as oyilattam, silambattam, Devarattam, Karagattam, Mayil Aatam, Koothu and many more as a means of expression of few of the finest works of literature such as Silappatikaram, Manimekalai, Civaka Cintamani, Valayapathi, Kuntalakesi, Poniyin selvan including few. PB-TLA has an illustrious history with conducting various events that have been great successes over the years and the legacy is passed on each year for more colossal successes.
